The Montpellier University and the Laboratory of Excellence EpiGenMed, Montpellier, France, jointly invite applications for a Professorship of Cellular and Molecular Biology (CNU Section 64/65). The professor should be an internationally established, highly qualified scientist who will set up an independent research laboratory in one of the major research institutes of Montpellier. A generous startup package may be negociated to support the research team, involving funding for equipment, consumables and personnel.
The Professor will be responsible for teaching in biology from the third (Licence) to the fifth year (Master 2). Teaching will be adjusted depending on the professor specialty. Candidates with expertise in Genetics, Epigenetics, Cell and Molecular Biology and cell fate determination and switching are of particularly high interest in the context of this call.
Teaching will be given in French and in English. Knowledge of French language is required.
