A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Bertrand Joseph at the Department of Oncology-Pathology, to work on a project examining the pathological impact of cell-cell communication and epigenetic/transcriptional cell reprogramming in solid tumors (Nature 2011, PMID: 21389984, and Nature 2013, PMID: 23863932).

The position is initially for 1 year with a possible extension for 2 years, depending on the performance and progress of the project.

Qualifications

Candidates should have an excellent track record and experience in standard molecular and cell biology techniques. The candidate will have prior expertise in the design, performance and analysis of experiments using genome-wide techniques such as for example RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, GRO-Seq or other high-throughput sequencing analysis. Please note that due to local scholarship regulations, candidates must have earned their PhD at a university outside of Sweden. A scholarship for the pursuit of postdoc studies may be awarded in the five years following the public defense (or equivalent) of a doctoral thesis.
