4th Annual Meeting Barcelona
We are delighted to announce the 4th Annual Meeting
November 27 – 29, 2014 at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona.
The event is organised by Luciano di Croce, Ferran Azorin Guillaume Filion, Marcus Buschbeck and the EpiGeneSys management team.
Models. Epigenetics. Evolution.
Registration is open for the 5th PhD/Postdoc workshop, which is taking place from May 22 – 23, 2014 at the Institut Curie in Paris. The workshop seeks to present the recent developments on the topic of mathematical modelling applied to epigenomic data and will give the opportunity to reflect the conditions for a successful collaboration between experimentalists and modellers. The programme includes talks by Edith Heard, Martin Howard, Marc Rehmsmeier, Leonie Ringrose, Denis Thieffry, Francisco Ubeda, Jacques van Helden and Erik van Nimwegen. Don’t miss this great event!
Successful Midterm Report
We have received the official midterm report, drafted by reviewers Uwe Ohler and Emma Whitelaw. EpiGeneSys was described as “highly successful, in particular to enable participation of a broad community and support standout projects of young PIs. It is an outstanding example of how the structure of a network can be put to effective use in ways that other funding opportunities could not provide”. It was noted that a strengthened participation of computational teams would benefit our aims.

New Collaborator Tool launched!
This latest EpiGeneSys feature exclusive to network PIs supports our members in finding partners in order to apply together for grants, both nationally and internationally.
It allows to register for topics of interest, browse the entries of other teams, contact other members directly and create a project to find collaborators. The tool will automatically notify the PIs when a project in their areas of research is created. |
