Description

A three-year post-doctoral position funded by the ARC (Association pour la recherche sur le cancer) is available in the group Chromatin and Cell Biology at the Institute of Human Genetics in Montpellier.

Project: Our laboratory is interested in regulatory mechanisms of Polycomb complexes recruitment during the course of Drosophila development. In particular, the project aims to identify partners of Polycomb group of proteins implicated in the epigenetic control of cellular proliferation, signalling and tumourigenesis.

The Institute of Human Genetics is located in Montpellier, an international city with a stimulating research environment, located in the South of France.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a strong expertise in Drosophila genetics, biochemistry and imaging. Candidates with a background in molecular and cell biology, as well as those experienced in the use of genetic models, are encouraged to apply. A talent for performing research in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment is essential.
