Applications for faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professors) are now welcome. Highly competitive packages are provided.

One of BESE strategic aims is investigating the fundamental epigenetic mechanisms that control genome function. Emphasis will be on the study of how genomes from a variety of plant, animal and cellular models learn and communicate with the environment and how this matters for biodiversity, adaptation and evolution. The characteristic of this initiative is to combine highly innovative basic science research projects with technology development to investigate epigenetic mechanisms by which organisms develop and adapt, in particular in extreme environments.
To this purpose, BESE Division programs strongly supports cross-fertilization with all other `Disciplines in the campus including Mathemathics, Computational Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Nanotechnology.
