The Boulard group at EMBL Rome is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher with expertise in chromatin
biology or biochemistry to lead an exciting interdisciplinary project focused on the molecular basis of epigenetic silencing in mammals. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced scientist to join our team and pursue the exploration of peculiar chromatin modifying pathways involved in
transcriptional control. The project covers the areas of biochemistry, proteomic and epigenomic.
The initial contract is for a period of two years with funding available for fixed-term extension up to five
Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant field, expertise in chromatin biology or biochemistry and at least one first author article. Previous experience with the purification and the biochemical analysis of
mammalian protein complexes would be an advantage.
