Research Assistant (f/m)

Job description

  • organization and realization of research projects including molecular cloning, protein purifications as well as in vitro and in vivo assays
  • data documentation and evaluation
  • general laboratory organization including order management

Your qualifications

  • training as a technical assistant or equivalent qualification, University graduates (BSc) are encouraged to apply as well as applicants with job experience
  • motivation to be part of a newly founded Institute and work in an international environment
  • excellent knowledge of the English language, good knowledge of German.
  • ability to work independently
  • strong skills in team work
  • a high degree of organizing ability
  • flexibility and reliability
Proficiency in the following fields is required:
  • molecular and cellular biology techniques, including cloning, gene expression analysis, protein expression and mammalian cell culture
  • management of transgenic mouse lines
